We are an inclusive study group that study and practice Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) in Springfield, IL. We will mainly focus on the longsword, but we will also be working with many others as interest and expertise develops such as the dussack and the rapier.
This is a study group of the Meyer Freifechter Guild, so we will be primarily be studying the works of Joachim Meyer. We have members who are exploring dagger/wrestling, broadswords, military sabres, and we encourage our members to pursue whichever weapon or system catches their interest under HEMA.
